| Penerangan CU | Rubber And Palm Oil Effluent Facultative Treatment Operations describes the competency required to manage the effluent facultative- treatment process. Facultative unit are those in which a combination of anaerobic, aerobic and facultative (able to grow in either the presence or absence of oxygen) bacteria stabilise effluents. Here, biological degradation process continues to further reduce the organic matter content of the effluent coming from the previous anaerobic treatment. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to check previous facultative treatment inspection record, inspect physical condition of the facultative treatment unit, carry out sampling of the facultative treatment unit, carry out laboratory analysis based on scheduled facultative treatment sampling, perform facultative treatment process improvement, conduct facultative treatment routine operation and prepare facultative treatment operations report. The outcome of this competency is to produce a more stabilised effluent (facultative liquor) with further reduced BOD and organic pollutants for the subsequent treatment. |
