| Penerangan CU | Maintain aircraft radar system describes is an activity involving inspection, repairing, replacement, modification and testing which includes radar protection system, display graphic, panel control setting, weather radar radio altimeter, ATC transponder, DME interrogator and Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance system (TCAS/T2CAS). The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare aircraft radar system maintenance Tools, Equipment and Materials (TEM), perform aircraft radar system inspection, perform aircraft radar components replacement, perform aircraft radar system repair, perform aircraft radar system rigging, modify aircraft radar system components, troubleshoot aircraft radar system components faults and certify aircraft radar system maintenance. The outcome of this CU is to sustain radar system function effectivity and reliably in the anticipated operating condition in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manual. |
