| Penerangan CU | Industrial Gas Emission Dry Control Operation describes the competencies required to operate the various types of industrial gas emission dry control systems. Examples of these systems are dry scrubber, thermal oxidiser, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and activated carbon. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to interpret job instructions, inspect system prior to start-up, rectify minor abnormalities, start-up system, collect system performance data, rectify minor abnormalities and shut down system. The outcome of this competency is efficient and sustainable operation of the gas emission dry control system. This will significantly reduce the emission of air contaminants to the atmosphere in compliance with environmental regulation on allowable emission limit. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU should be able to operate the various types of industrial gas emission dry control systems. Examples of systems covered in the CU are dry scrubberand activated carbon. The outcome of this competency is efficient and sustainable operation of the gas emission dry control system which will significantly reduce the emission of air contaminants to the atmosphere in compliance with environmental regulation on allowable emission limit.
