This includes tasks such as routine hardware and software updates, troubleshooting issues, monitoring network performance, and ensuring that all components are functioning optimally. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out software updates and patches, carry out hardware inspections and maintenance, backup critical data and configurations and prepare maintenance activities documentation. The outcome of this CU is that computer network is maintained to a level where downtime is minimized, reliability improved, and lifespan of network infrastructure is extended. |
