| Penerangan CU | Design Computer Network Architecture is the process of creating a blueprint or plan for the organization and structure of a computer network system. The designs can be a Local Area Network (LAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN). This includes defining the layout of network components such as routers, switches, access ports, the central processing unit (CPU), memory, storage, input/output devices, and their interconnections. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to gather network architecture design requirement, produce network topology design, plan network IP Addressing Scheme, perform network devices and technology selection, produce network routing and switching design, plan redundancy and High Availability (HA) and conduct network design simulation test. The outcome of this CU to produce a well-structured and optimized blueprint for the organization and interconnection of hardware components in a computing network system. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to develop a blueprint plan of a computer network system based on the requirements and objective of an organization. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Gather network architecture design requirement. 2. Produce network topology design. 3. Plan network IP addressing scheme. 4. Perform network devices and technology selection. 5. Produce network routing and switching design. 6. Plan redundancy and High Availability (HA). 7. Conduct network design simulation test. |
