| Penerangan CU | Pre-Treatment Process Control describes the competency required to supervise the process of adding coagulants to cause the formation of microscopic particles in water. This also includes monitoring the process of agitation, which will cause small particles in the water to collide and combine to become bigger flocs. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to determine coagulation and flocculation process parameters, evaluate coagulation and flocculation work record, endorse chemical dosage work, monitor coagulation and flocculation work, coordinate flocculation corrective action and produce coagulation and flocculation verification report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the coagulation dosing rate meets the set standards and the clarified water condition and pH meets the required standards and parameters in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. |
