| Penerangan CU | Treated Water Post Dosing Process Control describes the competency required to supervise the process of disinfection which destroys microorganisms that still remain in the water after filtration in the clear water tank. This process includes the usage of gaseous chlorine or chlorine compound which are normally used for disinfections. The pH is adjusted using lime or soda ash. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to determine treated water post dosing process parameter, evaluate post dosing inspection record, monitor post dosing inspection work, coordinate post dosing work corrective action and produce post dosing work verification report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the water is free from bacteria and micro-organisms and the pH is adjusted in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU has to be able to supervise the process of disinfection which destroys remaining microorganisms in the water after filtration in the clear water tank which includes the usage of gaseous chlorine or chlorine compound which are normally used as disinfectants and pH adjustments using lime or soda ash. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the water is free from bacteria and micro-organisms and the pH is adjusted in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and regulatory requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainee will be able to:- - Determine treated water post dosing process parameter - Evaluate post dosing inspection record - Monitor post dosing inspection work - Coordinate corrective action - Produce verification report |
