| Penerangan CU | The Information system security & control administration competency unit describes the competency required in administering user access to systems to maintain system integrity, accessibility and availability. Information security means protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording or destruction. The process of information security involves assessment, protection, monitoring & detection, incident response & repair, documentation, and review. This makes information security an indispensable part of all the business operations across different domains. He or She is responsible to implement security policies, and monitor the implementation of system security. The person is competent shall be able to implement information system security and report information security implementation The outcome of this competency is to ensure the information system is secure according to security procedures and to maintain organisation’s information integrity, confidentiality, availability, protection from unauthorized access and avoid system disruption. |
