| Penerangan CU | Boiler fuel plant equipment maintenance is a competency in servicing and repairing boiler fuel plant component and parts of boiler system. Boiler fuel plant is an area that store and prepare boiler fuel (gas, oil and solid) for boiler fireside. The component such as oil/ gas tank, gas regulator, gas filter, warmer, gauges, valves, pump, filter, heater, modulating, conveyor, cyclone, motor, chipper, bearing and other components that supports the operation of the boilers must always in good condition inline with boiler it self that running in long time. The component must be sufficiently maintained, repaired or inspected during it operation. The person who is competent in boiler fuel plant equipment maintenance shall be able to identify boiler fuel plant equipment maintenance requirement, apply boiler fuel plant components maintenance permit to work, repair boiler fuel plant maintenance tools and equipment, isolate boiler system, service boiler fuel plant equipment, repair boiler fuel plant component, test boiler fuel plant components functionality, record boiler fuel plant maintenance logbook The outcome of this competency is to ensure the boiler fuel plant equipment functioning sufficiently according to boiler requirement and regulatory body requirement (DOSH). The personnel who will be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies:- • Welding Certificate • Confine Space Permit/ Certificate |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to service and repair boiler plant mechanical component. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Identify boiler fuel plant equipment maintenance requirement • Apply boiler fuel plant components maintenance permit to work • Prepare boiler fuel plant maintenance tools and equipment • Isolate boiler system • Service boiler fuel plant equipment • Repair boiler fuel plant component • Test boiler fuel plant components functionality • Record boiler fuel plant maintenance logbook |
