| Penerangan CU | Boiler water treatment plant maintenance is a competency in servicing and repairing boiler water treatment plant material, component and parts of boiler system. Boiler water treatment plant is an area that preparing and treating water for boiler operation. The components such as valves, pipes, pumps, tank, pond, sand /carbon filter, softener, deaerator and other components that supports the operation of the boilers must always in good condition inline with boiler it self that running in long time. The component must be sufficiently maintained, repaired or inspected during it operation. The person who is competent in boiler water treatment plant maintenance shall be able to Identify boiler water treatment plant component maintenance requirement, apply boiler water treatment plant component maintenance permit to work, prepare boiler water treatment plant component maintenance PPE, material tools and equipment, isolate boiler system, service boiler water treatment plant component, repair boiler water treatment plant component, replace boiler water treatment filter material and resin, test boiler water treatment plant system functionality, record boiler water treatment plant maintenance logbook The outcome of this competency is to ensure the boiler water treatment plant equipment functioning sufficiently according to boiler and regulatory body requirement (DOSH). | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to service and repair boiler water treatment plant component. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Identify boiler water treatment plant component maintenance requirement • Apply boiler water treatment plant component maintenance permit to work • Prepare boiler water treatment plant component maintenance PPE, material tools and equipment • Isolate boiler system • Service boiler water treatment plant component • Repair boiler water treatment plant component • Replace boiler water treatment filter material and resin • Test boiler water treatment plant system functionality • Record boiler water treatment plant maintenance logbook |
