| Penerangan CU | Boiler testing and commissioning is a competency in testing boiler operational system and handover it to customer. Testing and commissioning is a crucial step in ensuring that all systems are functioning properly. Testing and commissioning and boiler system involves a series of steps that are taken to prove that the system meets the specified requirements. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to Identify testing and commissioning requirement, Apply testing and commissioning permit to work, Conduct boiler system testing, Perform boiler system commissioning and Report Boiler system testing & commissioning activities to superior in accordance with customer specification and regulatory bodies requirements. (DOSH) The outcome of this competency is to ensure the whole boiler system will operate at the expected level of performance according to the customer need and requirements. The personnel who will be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies:- • Boiler man Certificate |

Properly testing and commissioning will provides a vital foundation for the long-term operation of the system, protecting the stake holder. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Identify testing and commissioning requirement • Apply testing and commissioning permit to work • Conduct boiler system testing • Perform boiler system commissioning • Report Boiler system testing & commissioning activities |
