Penerangan CU | Unlike the on grid systems, these systems must generate all the power available to the loads. Thus, array sizing (and battery sizing where included) and load requirements are critical aspects of success in meeting the customer’s needs. Off grid system requires batteries to store power for the times when the sun is not shining. Does not use electric utility power. The design of any off grid system should consider, other than the electrical load, a number of criteria such as budget, power quality, environmental impact, aesthetics, acceptable generator set runtime, noise levels, site accessibility and level of automation. The design also will be prepared according to the initial site assessor findings. Then the designer would estimate the cost incurred for each individual project. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse site visit report, size the off grid solar PV system, prepare off grid solar PV system design and estimate off grid solar PV system costing. The outcome of this competency is to ensure accurate shop design would be produced and accurate project costing would be calculated to meet the power and energy needs of the client. |
