Penerangan CUSeaport security crisis management is the overall coordination of seaport organization's response to a crisis, in an effective, timely manner, with the goal of avoiding or minimizing damage to the organization's profitability, reputation and ability to operate. It involves identifying a crisis, planning a response to the crisis and confronting and resolving the crisis that strike seaport operation.

The competency includes analyse port security crisis, conduct security impact analysis, suggest crisis management remedial, conduct crisis mediation, evaluate security crisis performance and draft up reports

The outcome of this competency is to enable threatening or crisis incidents could threaten to harm people or property, interrupt business, damage reputation and/or negatively impact share value are encountered complying with seaport organization policy and procedures

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to manage the overall coordination of seaport organization's response to a crisis, in an effective, timely manner, with the goal of avoiding or minimizing damage to the organization's profitability, reputation and ability to operate. It involves identifying a crisis, planning a response to the crisis and confronting and resolving the crisis that strike seaport operation .
