| Penerangan CU | ICCM is equipment that integrates all kinds of MSS into one control platform for the effective control of all the equipment/system. For mission-critical operations, this command and control platform offers precisely the real-time support function and information needed to react effectively to an incident at any time . The display system contains several consoles which are used for situation assessment and decision making for command and control purposes. Consoles include one or more workstations (or PC's), either DOS or UNIX based, interconnected by, for example, an Ethernet LAN which may also carry sensor control and communication signals. ICCM has the basic characteristics of Command & Control Systems and sensor functionalities that can detect and process surface, underwater and air targets/objects. The data gathered from sensors like SRS, AIS, RDF, GPS, or other active/passive sensors/devices, are processed by a Integrated Command and Control System to establish the tactical picture. Tactical picture can be distributed to users with various purposes via LAN/WAN. ICCM can be installed either on Static Platforms (Land-based and Off-shore) and Mobile Platforms . ICCM installation is fixing or semi-fixing of a complete ICCM or a self-contained ICCM Unit, with its accompanying assemblies, accessories and parts. ICCM installation also includes provision of or connection to services (such as power) or other associated equipment required to make the installed ICCM ready for operations . ICCM Maintenance is designed to preserve and restore ICCM reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail. Preventive Maintenance activities include care and servicing for the purpose of maintaining ICCM module as well as their associated equipment in satisfactory operating condition by providing for systematic check, detection, and correction of incipient failures either before they occur or before they develop into major defects. maintenance include tests, measurements, adjustments, and parts replacement, performed specifically to prevent faults from occurring, oil changes, lubrication and so on at specified periods. In addition, person can record equipment deterioration so they know to replace or repair worn parts before they cause system failure . Persons who are competent in this CU shall be able to install a complete fixed/mobile ICCM as well as their other associated equipment. He or She shall also be able to carry out Maintenance on fixed/mobile ICCM as well as their other associated equipment in accordance with Regulatory Bodies recommendations, OEM’s/Client’s requirements and Contractor’s SOP. The outcomes of this CU is persons that shall be able to provide an excellent and quality installation and Maintenance of ICCM as well as their other associated equipment to ensure prompt actions are taken and client’s satisfaction is guaranteed in accordance with Regulatory Bodies’ recommendations, OEM’s/Client’s requirements and Contractor’s SOP. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | Persons who are competent in this CU shall be able to install a complete ICCM as well as their other associated equipment. He or She shall also be able to carry out maintenance on ICCM as well as their other associated equipment. Upon completion of this CU, trainees will be able to:- · Set-up fixed/mobile ICCM Installation. · Install fixed/mobile ICCM Cables. · Install fixed/mobile ICCM Power Supply Switches, Breakers and Outlets. · Install fixed/mobile ICCM. · Perform fixed/mobile ICCM preventive maintenance. |
