| Penerangan CU | Cargo security inspection is the security function for monitoring movements of cargo including its transport unit at seaport. It is the scanning or non-intrusive inspection and point out locations where explosives, illegal drugs, and/or other contraband that may be hidden are checked in complying with the contents of a consignment / container or vehicle against its manifest, providing legislation significantly increase customs revenues and diminished smuggling. The conversed x-ray scanner designed will be used to screen cargo such as large parcels, trunks, crates and pallets, etc. including container to detect concealed weapons, narcotics, explosives and to verify customs manifests The competency having vast knowledge of understanding the process flow of a cargo from entry to discharge point with grasp of understanding related documentations in order to identify any illegal activities such as smuggling and theft. The outcome of the competency is having clean control and measures in every cargo entry to identify and deter any damage that could cause loss to the port facility and the economy |
