| Penerangan CU | Furniture materials preparation is also known as rough milling process. It is the stage where the raw materials will be processed into furniture materials. This process is performed by identifying and cutting raw materials; and carries out jointing/surface planning, thicknessing, ripping and profiling process. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that furniture materials are produced in accordance with work order, product specifications, and product drawing and sample. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to produce furniture materials in accordance with work order, product specifications, and product drawing and sample. Upon completion of this CU, trainees will be able to:- • Identify work requirements • Identify raw materials • Carry out materials cutting • Carry out jointing/surface planing process • Carry out thicknessing process • Carry out ripping process • Carry out profiling process • Verify furniture materials condition • Report rough milling activities. |
