| Penerangan CU | Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) and Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Docking Operation is focusing on competency of the PBB Operator to operate the VDGS and to dock the PBB to an aircraft safely, timely and effectively complies with annex 14, Aerodrome Manual, IATA Airport Handling Manual Chapter 6 Airside Management and Safety and in accordance with Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) and Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Standard Operation Procedure. The personnel who are competent in the Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) and Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Docking Operation shall be able to Prepare Visual Docking Guidance System and Passenger Boarding Bridge docking operation requirements, perform parking bay area inspection, perform (VDGS) Operation, perform PBB docking preparations, perform PBB docking operation and perform PBB undocking operation. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) and Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Docking Operation is done safely, timely and effectively complies with Annex 14, Aerodrome Manual, IATA Airport Handling Manual Chapter 6 Airside Management and Safety in accordance with PBB Standard Operation Procedure requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to ensure the Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) and Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Docking Operation is done safely, timely and effectively complies with Annex 14, Aerodrome Manual, IATA Airside Management and Safety and in accordance with PBB Standard Operation Procedure requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to: · Prepare Visual Docking Guidance System and Passenger Boarding Bridge docking operation requirements · Perform parking bay area inspection · Perform Visual Docking Guidance System (VGDS) operation. · Perform Passenger Boarding Bridge Docking preparation · Perform Passenger Boarding Bridge docking operation · Perform Passenger Boarding Bridge undocking operation |
