| Penerangan CU | Computer aided furniture production is a process of using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software; and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce furniture products. This competency involves operating CAD and CAM programme, setting and operating CNC machine, and verifying the furniture components, which are produced by the CNC machine. The outcome of this competency is furniture components are prepared by using CNC operation in accordance with work order, product specifications, and product drawing and sample. The personnel who are to be trained for the competency must have basic knowledge and skills of using computer software. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare furniture components by using CNC operation in accordance with work order, product specifications, and product drawing and sample. Upon completion of this CU, trainees will be able to:- · Identify work requirements · Identify furniture component requirements · Operate CAD programme · Operate CAM programme · Set CNC machine operation · Carry out CNC machine operation · Verify furniture components condition · Report computer aided furniture production activities. |
