Penerangan CUIndian condiments side dishes preparation and production are activities in producing different types of Indian food condiments including hot and cold dishes. Indian condiment dishes signify tastes that are sweet, spicy and creamy. They are served upon request as an additional food.

The person who is competent in Indian condiment side dishes preparation shall be able to prepare Chutney condiments side dish, prepare Podi condiments side dish, prepare Indian sambal paste side dish, prepare Dhall curry side dish, prepare cold condiments sauces, prepare fresh cut fruits and prepare Pachidi condiments side dish in accordance with standard food recipe.

The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure Indian condiments side dishes produced with taste, colour, texture, and aroma and presented in accordance with Indian condiment cooking recipe.
