| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the competency in Plastic Production Shop Floor Maintenance Management. The personnel responsible to manage the maintenance activities related to the mould/die and equipment (machine and auxiliary) at the production shop floor. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to identify preventive or breakdown maintenance by analysing the maintenance requirements, schedule the preventive maintenance and evaluate the implemented activities, ensure the breakdown maintenance to be attended by maintenance department/person in charge and monitor the inventory level of the spare parts to be used during the preventive maintenance . The outcome of this competency is to ensure the production mould/die and equipments functions are always in good conditions and production operation are running smoothly in accordance with production plan, customer requirements and Standard Operating Procedure. The personnel who are to be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies: 1. Mould/Die and Equipment setup skills |
